A set of colored 3D decals from Quinta Studio for a detailed cockpit of a Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-5 model in 1:72 scale. It is neither a kit nor a complete model but a finishing set that replaces the flat interior parts with layered, pre-colored elements with relief.
The decals are printed in several layers, so the instrument panel, the side consoles and the belts gain depth and faithful colors without painting. The faces of the instruments are covered with a clear gloss polymer that acts like glazing. The shape of the set matches the cockpit of this type.
Cut the elements out with a sharp knife, dip them in lukewarm water for a few seconds and transfer them onto a cleaned plastic part coated with a gloss varnish. A 3D decal conforms to the surface and holds on the gloss coat; it has no adhesive layer of its own, and a decal softener or a setting solution does not belong on it. Position the small parts with tweezers and let them dry.
