The German 50 t heavy flatcar of the SSys type 1:72 is a plastic kit of a railway car for carrying heavy tanks, completed by photo-etched parts.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German heavy railway flatcar of the SSys type with a capacity of 50 tons in 1:72. The kit holds plastic sprues, photo-etched parts for the fine elements and a sheet of decals. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
During the Second World War the flatcar of the SSys type was among the ordinary means of the German railways for carrying heavy military equipment. Thanks to its high capacity and low deck it was used for transporting tanks and other armored vehicles over great distances, where they could not have got economically under their own power. Cars of this type therefore tend to be a favorite basis for railway dioramas with equipment loaded on them.
Bend the photo-etched parts over a ruler and glue them with super glue; finish the load bed and the running gear before the final assembly. The model is excellently suited as a base for a tank loaded in a diorama. After the base coat, add washes and pigments for the rusty, dusty and greasy traces that come about on working cars.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
