A decal sheet in 1:72 scale for the Gloster Gladiator: roundels, identification letters and the characters of serial numbers. You put the marking of a machine together from them yourself.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Gloster Gladiator was a British single-engine biplane fighter aircraft of the second half of the 1930s and the last biplane fighter in the service of the Royal Air Force. Against older biplanes it had an enclosed pilot's cabin and became a transitional type between the interwar machines and the all-metal monoplanes that replaced it immediately afterwards.
It is a general sheet, not the marking of one particular aircraft. On it you will find roundels, separate identification letters and characters for serial numbers, so you put the marking you have chosen together character by character according to the documentation you have. It comes in handy where the decals from a kit offer only two or three variants and you want to build a different machine, and also as a supplement when one of the characters from the original sheet does not come off. The breakdown of the sizes and quantities of the individual elements is given by the manufacturer in the instructions.
Cut the element out tightly by the artwork and dip it for a few seconds in lukewarm water. Let it rest for a moment until the backing comes loose and slide it onto the model. Prepare a smooth glossy surface under the decals; on a matte layer silvery patches appear. Soak the surplus water away with a paper towel, and decal softener will help the settling into unevennesses. Apply letters and numerals one at a time and pencil the spacing out beforehand with lightly stuck tape, so that the line does not wander. Once dry, spray the whole model over with the final varnish.
The package holds decals. The model, paints, varnish and decal softener are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
