Spray mask Grumman TBM-3S/AS.4 Avenger 1:72 (Peewit)

An accurately die-cut set of spray masks from the brand Peewit for a model of the Grumman TBM-3S/AS.4 Avenger in 1:72 scale. The masks of thin self-adhesive tape (kabuki) follow the frames of the canopy and the glazed areas of the anti-submarine version of the Avenger, so the frames can be sprayed cleanly and with no creep of paint.

Use

  • Degrease the glazing and stick the mask onto a clean, dry surface.
  • Burnish the edges thoroughly, so that paint does not creep under them.
  • Apply the paint in thin coats and peel the mask off while it is still supple.

Who it is for

For modelers who will appreciate sharp canopy frames and quicker work than masking with tape piece by piece.

The mask holds no paints or model; it serves only for masking during spraying.

Spray masks for the glazed areas of a model. Neither paints nor the model are part of it.

For 1:72 scale, for a model of the Grumman TBM-3S/AS.4 Avenger.

Onto clean glazing, burnish the edges, spray in thin coats and remove the mask while the paint is still slightly supple.
