A photo-etched set from thin metal sheet for a model of the Japanese twin-engine aircraft J1N1-S Gekko in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The J1N1 Gekko was a Japanese twin-engine aircraft with two radial engines, which moved during the war from escort and reconnaissance duties to night fighter service. For that, the J1N1-S version received cannons angled upwards, so that it could attack bomber formations from below. The Allies used the designation Irving for this type. On a model it is striking above all for its glazing and its long fuselage.
These are photo-etched parts from thin metal sheet, that is, an accessory for a kit in 1:72 scale bought separately. Photo-etched parts can take the place of shapes that an injection mold can only manage as suggested relief. Which kit the set is designed for, and what exactly the fret carries, can be checked in the manufacturer's catalog.
For builders who want to add fine details to a model beyond the contents of the kit and do not mind working with small metal parts. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
