Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese F-15J fighter in the J-MSIP version in 1:72 scale from the Japanese maker FineMolds. It is a modern tooling with finely engraved panel lines and clear canopy glazing; the decal sheet offers several markings for aircraft of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF). Check the exact contents of the package and the number of markings against the manufacturer's part number for this item.
The F-15J is the Japanese license version of the American twin-engine F-15 Eagle air superiority fighter, built for the JASDF. The J-MSIP designation refers to the Multi-Stage Improvement Program, which brought the aircraft a newer central computer, revised armament and fire control, and electronic warfare equipment. An external recognition feature of the upgraded machines is, among other things, the antenna under the leading edge of the air intake. The F-15J has formed the backbone of Japanese fighter defense since the 1980s.
Cut the parts from the sprues and glue clean joints with thin plastic model cement. Paint and highlight the cockpit interior before closing the fuselage, and it pays off to mask the glazed areas. Apply the gray camouflage of the Japanese Eagles with an airbrush over a primer; after gloss varnish and the decals, bring out the panel lines with a fine wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
