An aftermarket detail set in resin from the maker HAD Models, intended for a model of the transport aircraft Lockheed C-130 Hercules in the Fat Albert form in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit of the aircraft but an accessory reproducing the launcher for JATO (jet-assisted take-off) rocket units.
Fat Albert is the support aircraft accompanying an aerobatic team, and in the past it became famous for spectacular takeoffs with the help of additional takeoff rockets. The set makes it possible to fit the model with the corresponding rocket units and their attachments on the sides of the fuselage, which is a striking and unmistakable element.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them with super glue. It pays to paint the nozzles and the bodies of the rockets separately and to bring them out with smoke staining around the exhaust outlet.
It is an accessory for a model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
