Printed exhaust stubs for a model of the Ju 87 dive bomber in 1:72 scale, intended for the kit from the brand Academy.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Ju 87 was a German dive bomber of the Second World War, recognizable at first glance by its inverted gull wing and its fixed landing gear with wheel spats. The engine exhausts come out along the sides of the front part of the fuselage and run along the cowling, so they are visible on a model from close up and along their whole length.
The accessory replaces the exhaust stubs on a model in 1:72 scale. The parts are produced by 3D printing and intended for the kit from the brand Academy, so you do not have to spend a long time seating and fine-tuning them. At a small scale the exhausts tend to be merely suggested, yet it is enough to replace them and the whole nose comes across more sharply. The replacement pays off especially with a model that will end up in a display case at eye level or in front of a camera, where every simplified shape shows.
Seat the parts at the end of the build and try their fit dry before gluing, so that you find out how far from the cowling the exhausts should stand and how to angle them.
The model of the aircraft, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
