Eduard 1:72 Ju 87B-1 masks is a pre-cut self-adhesive masking set made of kabuki tape, for masking the intricate cockpit glazing of a model of the German dive bomber. It is not a model, but an accessory for painting.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard contains precisely pre-cut self-adhesive masks made of fine Japanese kabuki tape. It is not a kit and it is not a model, but an accessory for clean masking of the intricate cockpit glazing and the wheels when spraying paint. The set is in 1:72 scale.
The masks are applied to the frames of the glazed crew canopy and to the wheel rims. After spraying, the glass stays clear and the tires stay free of paint. Kabuki tape adapts to the shape of the frames, holds tight and leaves no adhesive when peeled off. On a canopy with this many frames, the set saves a great deal of time compared with cutting tape by hand. The pre-cut parts also help keep the edges clean and straight even on the smallest pieces of glazing.
The Junkers Ju 87B-1 Stuka was a German dive bomber of the Second World War with its characteristic cranked wing and fixed landing gear in aerodynamic fairings. The B-1 version was deployed in the opening years of the war and became famous for its accurate dive attacks.
The set contains pre-cut self-adhesive masking parts only. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
