Self-adhesive masks 1:72 for the Mitsubishi Ki-46 III Dinah from Dead Design: an accurate spray of the smoothly glazed nose and of the cabin canopy of the fast Japanese reconnaissance aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive masking films in 1:72 scale for the reconnaissance version Mitsubishi Ki-46 III. The third version differs from the older ones above all in an elegant, smooth, stepless nose that flows into the cabin canopy; the curved panes of the glazing are very hard to paint freehand, and this is where masks do their most valuable work.
The individual panels are transferred onto cleaned and degreased clear parts, the edges are pressed down and the glazing is sprayed together with the camouflage of the airframe. The frame lines stay sharp, the paint does not creep under, and the clear surfaces need no scraping or polishing afterwards. Once the paint has dried, the masks are gently taken off. The set suits an airbrush as well as work with a brush.
The Mitsubishi Ki-46, designated Dinah by the Allies, was a strategic reconnaissance aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Army. The Ki-46 III version received more powerful engines and a newly shaped smooth nose; thanks to its high speed and ceiling it long evaded interception and carried out reconnaissance flights until the end of the war in the Pacific.
A modeling accessory: the aircraft kit is not included in the package.
