This product is a photo-etched detail set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:72 scale. It is not a stand-alone model or a finished aircraft, but an accessory for refining a kit of the Japanese J7W1 Shinden fighter prototype. The set contains thin metal parts that replace simplified plastic elements and add fine detail that injection-molded plastic cannot capture.
Etched parts typically refine the cockpit, the instrument panel, the side consoles, the seat belts and a range of small interior and exterior features. Because the metal is so thin, the details look more realistic once fitted than thicker plastic moldings do. The set is designed for Kyushu J7W1 Shinden models in 1:72 scale.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife or photo-etch scissors on a cutting mat and make the bends over an edge or in a photo-etch bending tool. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate), not with cement for plastic. We recommend fitting pre-painted elements only after the basic cockpit work is done; degrease unpainted etched parts before painting.
The set is only an accessory. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
