A color photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for detailing the interior of the Czechoslovak jet trainer Aero L-29 Delfin in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a set of fine photo-etched metal parts. It replaces the simplified plastic of the cockpit, the instrument panel, the panels and the seat belts; the color printed surfaces look faithful without painting. In the small 1:72 scale the parts are especially tiny.
The L-29 Delfin is a Czechoslovak jet trainer from the Aero brand, one of the most successful home-built postwar aircraft. It served in large numbers as the basic jet trainer with the air forces of the Warsaw Pact states.
Separate the parts from the photo-etched fret with a sharp knife on a hard mat, form the bends with a photo-etch bender and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Do not varnish over the color printed surfaces. Because of the small scale, work patiently and with good lighting; this is one for a more advanced modeler.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not an aircraft model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
