A sheet of wet decals from the French maker Syhart Decal, the second part of the series for the Last Flight event at the Cambrai-Epinoy air base (BA103). It offers markings for the Dassault Mirage 2000C with the code 103-YN, which carried the commemorative scheme for sixty years and the farewell of the EC 1/12 Cambresis fighter squadron. The package contains decal sheets and a color guide. It is an accessory for a plastic kit, not a model of the aircraft.
The Dassault Mirage 2000C is the single-seat fighter version of the French delta-winged Mirage 2000. The Cambrai-Epinoy air base was among the traditional homes of French interceptors; its closure was accompanied by specially painted aircraft with commemorative motifs of the unit. This scheme refers to the long history of the squadron and to its disbandment.
Decals in 1:72 scale are small, so work with plenty of water and in smaller groups. Apply them onto a smooth gloss coat, and a decal softener will help them settle onto curved surfaces and into the engraved lines. Seal the finished markings with a clear coat.
This is a decal set, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
