This accessory resin set from the Czech manufacturer Aires replaces the plastic exhaust nozzles of the jet engines with more faithful resin castings with fine detail of the petals and the inner surfaces. The set is intended for models of the Eurofighter Typhoon multirole fighter in 1:32 scale. It is not a model of an aircraft but a more demanding detail accessory for a build, for more experienced modelers.
The Eurofighter Typhoon is a European multirole supersonic fighter powered by two jet engines with afterburners. The exhaust nozzles with their moving petals belong among the prominent features of the rear fuselage and call for a fine rendering.
Wash any release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Check the fit into the fuselage before gluing and adapt it if need be; wear respiratory protection while sanding. The inner surfaces of the nozzles come out well with a suitable metal shade and fine weathering.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
