A set of seat belts for the pilot seat of the Lockheed Martin F-35 in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II is a single-seat multirole combat aircraft of the fifth generation. Its cockpit is restrained in shape and the small items stand out in it all the more, and among them are exactly the seat belts of the ejection seat.
The belts from a kit tend to be only molded in relief, or missing altogether. A separate set replaces them with thin elements that can be hung over the edges of the seat, so the seat stops looking like a smooth block. In 1:72 scale it is a quick improvement with a great effect, especially when you build the model with the cockpit canopy slid back.
Work with fine-tipped tweezers and over a light-colored base, so that a small part is not lost. Paint the seat and the cockpit first and let them dry thoroughly, and fit the belts only at the end. Before applying, check in the manufacturer's instructions whether the elements are applied dry or soaked in water; the procedure differs between renditions. Bend the loose ends of the belts so that they fall over the edge of the pan and the side panels; straight belts laid on the pan read unnaturally.
This is an accessory to a model of an aircraft. Paints, glue and the seat are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
