A plastic kit of the British Centurion main battle tank in the Mk.5LR, or rather Mk.5/1, form with external fuel tanks, 1:72 scale, from ACE. The external tanks increased the tank's range and are a characteristic feature of this version. The model suits a display case as well as a diorama.
The Centurion was a British tank that became one of the most successful postwar types and served in the armies of many states. The long-range form carried external tanks at the rear of the hull, which answered its fairly high fuel consumption. The tank was marked by good armor and good firepower.
Assemble the running gear and the external tanks before painting. Glue the parts with thin modeling cement for plastic. After spraying the primer and the base color, bring the model to life with washes and pigments; mud and dust effects stand out especially on the running gear and the fenders.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
