This is a set of dry transfers from the manufacturer Print Scale in 1:72 scale, which contains the national insignia crosses of the Luftwaffe of the years 1940 to 1945. A dry transfer is applied to the surface of a model by pressure, without soaking in water, so there is no risk of it shifting or wrinkling. It is not a model, but an accessory sheet of markings for models of German wartime aircraft.
During the Second World War the Luftwaffe used national insignia crosses (the Balkenkreuz bar crosses) in several styles, which differed in the width of the border and in the proportion of white and black. The set covers the variants used in that period on the wings and the fuselages of combat aircraft.
The surface under a dry transfer has to be smooth, clean and degreased. Place the motif in position, hold it and transfer it with even pressure; smooth the edges down and after the transfer seal it with a matte or satin varnish, so that the marking holds better and settles into the surface.
This is not a model and not a mask. Paints, clear coat and the model are not included in the package.
