Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the two-seat German LVG C.VI biplane in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker Kovozavody Prostejov. It is an injection-molded kit with engraved surface detail and cockpit glazing; as with most biplanes of the period, adding the bracing wires between the wings and to the fuselage is worthwhile for a convincing result. The exact number of parts and schemes is not stated here as certain; the instruction sheet in the box is what decides.
The LVG C.VI was a German two-seat reconnaissance and observation biplane deployed in the closing phase of the First World War. It followed on from the older types of the C series and represented a lighter, aerodynamically cleaned-up design with a crew of pilot and observer-gunner. The aircraft served for artillery observation, reconnaissance and light bombing, and hundreds of them were built. After the war they flew for a number of years more in other countries, so the type is a rewarding subject for modelers of Great War aircraft.
Separate the fine parts with a sharp knife and clean them up, and glue the fuselage joints with a thin cement for plastic. It pays to finish the interior and the struts first and only then to rig the wires, ideally from stretched sprue or modeling thread. The period fabric and lozenge pattern camouflage schemes come out well sprayed with an airbrush and with the ribs picked out discreetly; a matte varnish will unify the surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
