This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale brings three subjects together: the heavy tractor M1070, the five-axle M1000 trailer for carrying tanks and the armored engineer bulldozer D9R. In the box you will find plastic sprues, a photo-etched sheet for the fine details, rubber tires and a decal sheet. It is a full model intended to be glued and painted, not an accessory.
The M1070 is an eight-wheel-drive (8x8) tractor of the US Army used as part of the heavy equipment transporter for moving armored vehicles. Coupled with the M1000 trailer it can carry main battle tanks and other equipment weighing around seventy tons. The D9R bulldozer is the armored engineer version of the well-known tracked machine, deployed to clear obstacles and build field fortifications under fire.
Before closing up the hull and the cabs we recommend finishing the chassis and the interior. Glue the plastic with liquid cement for plastic and the photo-etched metal parts with cyanoacrylate glue. A base coat (primer) is advisable, followed by spraying with an airbrush and patina with washes and pigments to bring out the dust and mud effects typical of heavy military vehicles.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
