This injection-molded plastic kit captures the American MaxxPro mine-resistant armored personnel carrier (MRAP) with the O-GPK turret. The box combines injection-molded parts with photo-etched details, rubber tires and a decal sheet, so it allows a detailed model of a modern combat vehicle to be built.
The MaxxPro belongs to the family of MRAP vehicles designed to protect the crew from mines and improvised explosive devices. The tall hull with an angled floor deflects the energy of a blast and protects the crew on patrol. The open protected O-GPK gunner turret gives the machine gunner cover while he works the weapon.
Attach the photo-etched parts and the fine extras with cyanoacrylate glue and the plastic joints with thin cement for plastic. Finish the interior and the chassis before closing the hull. Add a dark wash in the recesses and dust pigments on the underside and the tires to a desert or NATO green base.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
