A resin kit of the amphibious form of the American M29C Weasel tracked vehicle in 1:72 scale, intended for more experienced modelers. The package combines cast resin parts with photo-etch, decals and several marking options. The vehicle faithfully captures the front and rear floats and the pair of rudders of the amphibious version.
The M29 Weasel was a light American tracked carrier with low ground pressure, designed for movement in difficult terrain, snow and mud. The amphibious M29C version was given floats at the bow and stern and a pair of rudders, which let it cope with water obstacles as well. During the Second World War the vehicle was deployed in Europe and in the Pacific with American and British units alike.
First wash the resin parts clean of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding. Bend the photo-etched parts on a bending tool and apply the decals onto a smooth gloss base. Paint and weather the running gear and the floats before final assembly.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
