A plastic kit of the American M3A3 Stuart light tank in 1:72 scale from Mirage Hobby, in the form used by the Yugoslav army. The package combines plastic parts with photo-etched metal and adds tracks and decals, so it offers a well equipped model in an interesting, less usual form.
The M3A3 was a later version of the American Stuart light tank with a welded hull of a new shape and an armament consisting of a 37mm gun. The vehicles served with a number of Allied armies; Yugoslavia obtained them during 1944 and some of them stayed in service long after the war. The model captures one of their postwar modifications.
Separate the small parts in 1:72 sharply and clean them up with care. Finish the running gear and the lower hull before closing them up. Use thin liquid cement on the plastic and bond the etched parts with super glue. Apply primer and spray the paint with an airbrush. Lay the camouflage scheme on in layers; a final panel wash and dust pigments will give the tank a faithful, service-worn look.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
