The Beechcraft 1900 is an American twin-engine turboprop aircraft for regional routes with a capacity of roughly 19 passengers. The 1900D version from the early 1990s received a taller cabin allowing a person to stand upright, more powerful engines and aerodynamic refinements of the fuselage and wing. The machine spread among many commuter and charter operators around the world.
Short-run models call for careful cleanup of the parts and for dry-fitting. Use liquid modeling cement on the plastic and glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. The smooth surfaces of an airliner reward a good primer and a gloss clear coat under the decals for seamless transitions.
