This plastic kit in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian maker UM represents the American M4 Sherman medium tank in its basic configuration. The model is molded in injection plastic with a finely engraved surface and is complemented by a photo-etched set. It offers a faithfully done running gear, a welded hull and a cast turret with a 75 mm gun.
The M4 Sherman was one of the most widespread tanks of the Second World War and the backbone of the Allied armored units. The basic M4 version had a welded hull and a gasoline radial engine. It combined reliability with easy production and maintenance; it was built in many versions and served on most battlefields.
Assemble the running gear and the tracks first, then the hull and the turret. Glue the plastic with liquid cement for plastic and the photo-etch with cyanoacrylate glue. Once the olive drab has been sprayed on, bring the model to life with a wash in the recesses, pick out the edges with a dry brush and use pigments to create dust and mud effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
