M4A2 (76) HVSS Sherman 1:72 is an injection-molded plastic kit of the diesel version of the Sherman with a 76 mm gun and HVSS running gear from UM.

This kit captures the American M4A2 Sherman medium tank in the version with a 76 mm gun and the HVSS chassis in 1:72 scale. It is an injection-molded plastic model from UM, usually with a small photo-etched fret and a decal sheet. Link-and-length track links and separate running gear parts tend to be part of the set.
The M4A2 was powered by two coupled GM diesel engines, which is why a large share of production went abroad, among other places to the Soviet Union. The version with a 76 mm gun of higher muzzle velocity improved the anti-tank performance, and the HVSS chassis with wider tracks raised the mobility.
Assemble the running gear and the wider HVSS tracks first, then close the hull. Glue the plastic with liquid cement, use a primer and an airbrush. The longer barrel of the 76 mm gun is a typical identifying mark; you will create the weathering with washes in the recesses and dust pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
