The Marmon-Herrington was an armored car developed in the Union of South Africa on the chassis of Ford trucks with a driven axle from the American firm Marmon-Herrington. British and allied units used it on a large scale in the North African and Middle Eastern campaigns, where it served for reconnaissance and patrol work. The ME version was adapted for use in this area and carried an anti-tank rifle and a Bren gun.
Paint the interior and the running gear before closing the hull. Glue the fine accessories with cyanoacrylate glue. Spray the base coat with an airbrush and bring the desert and earth tones to life with washes and dust pigments. The open superstructure offers room to show the crew compartment and the armament.
