1:72 Mask B-52G Stratofortress EXPERT (MODELC.)

New Ware masking set - B-52G Stratofortress, 1:72 (the EXPERT level)

The most complete variant of precisely cut self-adhesive masks of fine kabuki (washi) tape from the Czech manufacturer New Ware, intended for the large plastic models of the American Boeing B-52G Stratofortress strategic bomber in 1:72 scale. The set makes faithful multicolor painting of the glazing and of the small details possible.

What the EXPERT level contains

The EXPERT level is the most comprehensive stage. Besides the outer surfaces of the glazing it also includes masks for the inside of the windows, the seals of the frames, the landing gear wheels and further small details for maximum accuracy.

The real subject

The B-52 Stratofortress is an eight-engine long-range strategic bomber from Boeing, the backbone of the strike forces of the US Air Force during the Cold War. The G version brought a shortened vertical tail, integral fuel tanks in the wing and the carriage of guided missiles.

Use and tips

• Apply the masks for the inner surfaces before the glazing is closed up.
• Kabuki tape adapts to the framing of the cockpit windows.
• Once painted, take the masks off carefully and in good time.

Who the set is for

• Advanced modelers who are demanding about fidelity of detail.
• Builders of large bombers in 1:72 scale.
• Anyone interested in Cold War aircraft.

This is an accessory for masking, not a model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
