An entry-level BASIC set of self-adhesive painting masks in 1:72 scale from New Ware. Kabuki film masks make it easy to paint the glazing and selected areas of a North American F-86F Sabre jet fighter model cleanly. The BASIC version covers the main glazing, the position lights and surfaces, a practical foundation for quick masking. It is not a kit.

The real subject

The North American F-86 Sabre was a first-generation American jet fighter, famous for its service in the Korean War. The F-86F version was among the most widespread and most capable variants of the family.

Use

• Lay the masks exactly onto the clear parts and selected areas as shown in the diagram.
• Press the edges down so that paint cannot creep underneath.
• Paint with an airbrush and peel the masks off once dry.
• The film does not damage the surface and gives a sharp color transition.
