Responsibility details are not available.
A decal sheet in 1:72 scale from the British manufacturer Xtradecal, devoted to the British version of the Phantom designated FG.1. The decals are waterslide, printed on a thin carrier film and meant to mark a model already built and painted. Which particular machines the sheet covers is given by the manufacturer on the packaging and the instructions inside; compare them before buying with the model you are building.
The Phantom FG.1 is the British version of the two-seat twin-engined McDonnell Douglas Phantom fighter. It differs from the American versions chiefly in its powerplant: in place of the original engines it was given British Rolls-Royce Spey turbofans, which called for a wider rear fuselage and differently shaped air intakes. The aircraft was originally intended for carrier operations and later served from land bases as well. The combination of gray and dark camouflage finishes with bold national insignia makes the Phantom a rewarding subject for decal sheets.
The key to a clean result is the base. Go over the area where the decal is to go with a clear gloss varnish and let it cure properly: on a matte or semi-matte surface, microscopic air bubbles are trapped under the film and the decal whitens. Free the model of dust and grease before application, place the decal on a dampened spot and fine-tune the position before the adhesion starts to work. Once dry, a covering coat of clear varnish follows, and only then the matting and any weathering.
A decal sheet is not a kit. The model, paints, varnish and glue are not included in the package.
