The decal set Me 210 part 2 in 1:72 scale from HAD models — a follow-on sheet of markings for the German twin-engine Messerschmitt Me 210 combat airplane.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a sheet of wet decals, not an airplane kit. The set serves to add to or replace the markings on a plastic Me 210 model in 1:72 scale, and the name identifies it as the follow-on, second part of the series. The make-up of the schemes and the number of options are stated on the packaging of the sheet.
The Messerschmitt Me 210 was a German twin-engine two-seat airplane of the early 1940s, conceived as the successor to the Bf 110 in the heavy fighter and fast bomber roles. The design struggled with problems of longitudinal stability and landing behavior, so series production in Germany was limited. The program continued with license production in central Europe using a different powerplant, and the technical lessons fed into the later Me 410.
Apply the decals onto a smooth, glossy and degreased surface — flat varnish or a coarse paint texture leads to silvering under the film. Cut the motif out as close as you can, soak it in lukewarm water and, once the backing has released, move it into place with a soft brush. A decal softener will make it easier to settle into engraved lines and onto curved surfaces; draw the excess water off with a paper towel and let it dry thoroughly. Go over the finished markings with a clear varnish in the degree of sheen you have chosen, so that the edges of the film disappear and the decal stands up to handling and weathering.
This is a separate decal sheet. The kit, paints, glue and decal softener are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
