This set from Quinta Studio brings color 3D printed interior decals on decal paper. They are applied with water like ordinary decals, yet they carry relief and pre-printed color, so the cockpit gains depth, legible instruments and a realistic look without painting, even in a small scale. It is not a model but an accessory for models of the two-seat Me-262B-1a/U1 in 1:72 scale.
The Me-262 was the first jet fighter of the Second World War to be used in combat. The two-seat B-1a/U1 version came about as a stopgap night fighter with radar and a second crew member who worked the equipment. The double cockpit offers twice as much room for detailed rendering.
Clean and degrease the surface, dip the decal briefly in water, slide it into place and press it down gently, then blot the excess water away. Do not use a decal softener: that is the one thing forbidden here, because it attacks the printed resin. Because of the scale, tweezers and a magnifier help. The set shows to best effect on a build with the canopy open.
