Messerschmitt Bf-109E stencil markings 1:72 (Eduard)

This is a stand-alone sheet of waterslide decals with complete technical and service markings for a model of the Messerschmitt Bf-109E fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit and not the main camouflage but an accessory that gives the surface of a model the realistic density of small lettering. The sheet contains warning and maintenance markings, filler caps, the markings of access panels and other service texts such as the real machine carries.

The real subject

The Bf-109E Emil was the basic variant of the German fighter of the early Second World War, used among other things during the Battle of Britain. The real aircraft carried dense technical markings spread all over the airframe, which the ordinary decals in a kit often only simplify.

Use

• Cut the relevant decal out and soak it briefly in lukewarm water.
• Slide the decal onto a varnished surface and settle it with a decal softener.
• Once dry, coat it with a flat or semi-gloss varnish to even it out.
