The real subject

The G-2 and G-4 versions were among the early forms of the Gustav series with the Daimler-Benz DB 605 engine; the G-4 differed from the G-2 above all in modified radio equipment and larger landing gear wheels. The Hungarian Air Force deployed these machines from 1943 above all on the Eastern Front, where Hungarian fighter units operated alongside the German ones. The machines carried Hungarian national insignia and tactical markings, which this sheet renders - a historically interesting alternative to the usual German schemes.
