A color 3D interior decal from Quinta Studio on decal paper. The instrument panel, the side panels, the seat and further cockpit detail are pre-printed in faithful colors and have fine raised relief. Slow painting and photo-etching of the interior are thus avoided. The set is intended for models of the MiG-25 RBF reconnaissance version in 1:72 scale.
The elements are separated and applied as wet decals: the piece is dipped in water and slid onto the place prepared for it. The relief printing creates the impression of three-dimensionally shaped instruments and controls, so the cockpit looks realistic even in a small scale. The plastic cockpit parts come from the original kit.
Degrease the surface, settle the decal onto a damp and smooth surface and press it gently with a soft brush. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer; they attack the printed resin and ruin the element. Once dry you can even the whole out with a thin coat of matte or semi-gloss varnish.
This is a modeling accessory, not a stand-alone kit. The plastic model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
