A photo-etched set of pilot seat belts for a model of the MiG-25 fighter in 1:72 scale. It contains fine brass parts from which you assemble faithful harnesses with buckles for the ejection seat. Realistically rendered belts are among the most noticeable details of an open cockpit. It is an accessory for MiG-25 models, not a kit.
The MiG-25 (Foxbat) is a Soviet twin-engined high-speed interceptor and reconnaissance aircraft of the Cold War. Its pilot sat in an ejection seat fitted with a multi-point harness, and this set is its scale replacement.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife, bend the straps gently and shape them so that they drape naturally over the seat. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Once fitted, paint the belts in the appropriate shades and pick the buckles out with a metallic color or a dry brush.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. The base model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
