A decal sheet in 1:72 scale for the new finish scheme of Polish MiG-29s, the second part. An accessory for a plastic kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The MiG-29 is a twin-engined supersonic fourth-generation fighter with twin fins and turbofan engines. It has served in the Polish Air Force for a long time and several machines have received striking commemorative finishes that differ conspicuously from the ordinary gray camouflage. The sheet is devoted to one of these newer schemes and follows on from the first part of the series.
A decal sheet in 1:72 scale intended for finishing the surface of a plastic kit. It carries the elements of the commemorative scheme and the markings that go with it. How many machines and which details the sheet covers is specified in the instructions enclosed with it. It is the second part, so its contents may complement the first part rather than overlap it.
Prepare the surface smooth and glossy, otherwise a matte edge will be left around the decal. Cut the piece out closely to the edge of the printing, soak it briefly in lukewarm water and, once it has released from the backing, slide it onto the model. Press the surplus water out with a soft cloth; a busy surface is handled by a softener. Before you soak the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is a self-adhesive version: a soaked self-adhesive film is ruined. Even the finished surface out with a varnish.
For modelers who build contemporary jets in 1:72 scale and want to finish a model in a striking commemorative finish instead of the ordinary camouflage.
The package holds a decal sheet. The kit, the paints, the varnishes and the softener are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
