A milk can in 1:72 scale is a scenic accessory for a diorama. It is not a model kit but a stand-alone prop for rural and civilian scenes.
Responsibility details are not available.
The milk can belongs among the scenic accessories for dioramas and display scenes. It is not a kit of an aircraft or a vehicle — it is a stand-alone object, added to a scene beside a finished model, a building or figures. A metal can is one of the most typical props of a rural setting and works reliably in a diorama.
It comes into its own best in a farmyard, by a barn, on a platform, on the bed of a cart or dropped by a road. It also works well in a group — several cans lined up by a wall make a natural cluster that fills an empty spot on the base and at the same time gives a scene scale. The accessory is not tied to a particular kit and combines with any model in 1:72 scale.
Cut the sprue gate remnants off and level the face, then degrease the surface and spray on a thin base. You can imitate galvanized sheet with a light gray paint with a fine metallic tinge, while an enameled can will take a matte color shade. The weathering does the most: a dark wash into the rings and around the lid, fine scuffs with a dry brush on the edges and rusty patches at the base. It is at the base that rust appears first in reality. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) in a small amount; work with tweezers and in a well-ventilated room.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Paints, glue and other materials are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
