Responsibility details are not available.
This Eduard photo-etched detail set in 1:72 scale serves to sharpen up a plastic model of the French two-seat Dassault Mirage F.1B fighter. It is neither a kit nor an airplane model in its own right, but a set of fine photo-etched parts in thin sheet metal, which replace simplified plastic items and give the model realistic detail. Working with photo-etch presupposes experience, so the set is intended for advanced modelers.
The Dassault Mirage F.1B is the two-seat trainer version of the French Mirage F.1 fighter with a swept wing. It kept its combat capability, though because of the second seat it gave up part of its internal fuel. It served to convert pilots onto the type and for combat training, and it was among the last versions of the Mirage F.1 in French service.
Separate the photo-etched parts from the fret with a sharp scalpel on a hard surface, not by twisting. Shape the bends with a bending tool or with tweezers, following the marked engraving. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); cement for plastic does not hold on metal. The parts printed in color are not varnished, and you paint the bare metal faces to match the subject. With a two-seat cockpit, give attention to both stations and go about it patiently.
The package contains photo-etched parts only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
