Peewit - cut painting masks for the Mirage F.1C, 1:72 scale are a self-adhesive masking set for plastic models, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A precisely cut self-adhesive masking set from Peewit for plastic models of the French fighter Dassault Mirage F.1C in 1:72 scale. It is not a model and not a kit but a painting accessory that is bought separately. The templates are cut to the shape of the cockpit glazing and other surfaces of the model, so you spray the frames with sharp edges and there is no laborious cutting and fitting of masking tape. The material follows the curvature of the canopy and leaves no adhesive on the part once lifted.
The Dassault Mirage F.1C was a French single-seat supersonic fighter and interceptor. Unlike the delta-winged Mirage III it received a conventional swept wing mounted high on the fuselage, which shortened the runway length it needed and increased its range. The F.1C version was equipped with an onboard radar for all-weather interception and reached speeds of more than twice the speed of sound. With the French Air Force it served as the main interceptor from the mid-1970s.
Degrease the transparent parts and let them dry. Lift the masks with tweezers, lay them into the frames and press the edges down with a toothpick against paint bleeding. Spray the shade of the frame first, then the primer and the camouflage, and lift the masks while the paint is fresh.
This is a masking set, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
