Responsibility details are not available.
A die-cut masking template for spraying the frames of the cabin glazing of the fighter Mitsubishi A5M2b of the late production version in 1:72 scale. Small clear parts can be masked by hand in this scale only with great difficulty; the precisely cut segments are laid on, pressed down and sprayed.
The Mitsubishi A5M, designated Claude by the Allies, was the first monoplane carrier-based fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy and the direct predecessor of the famous Zero. It was characterized by a fixed undercarriage and an open cockpit; it proved itself in the fighting in China at the close of the 1930s. The A5M2b version was built in renderings with a different solution for the cabin, which is why the mask is intended for the late production version in particular.
Degrease the clear part and let it dry. Transfer the segments with pointed tweezers, seat them along the frames and press the edges down with a toothpick. Spray light layers - the interior color first, then the external shade of the camouflage. Once it has dried, pull the mask off at a sharp angle. On a part as small as this you will appreciate that the template holds its shape even on curved surfaces.
A masking accessory - the kit, the paints and the glue are not included in the package.
