The Morane-Saulnier MS.406 wheel well in 1:72 scale is a resin replacement part from Quickboost for a model of this French fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin accessory from Quickboost brings a precisely cast main landing gear bay for a model of the French Morane-Saulnier MS.406 fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit, but a replacement part that swaps the empty or shallow landing gear bay from the box for a casting with faithful depth and fine detail of the internal structure.
The MS.406 was the most numerous French fighter at the beginning of the Second World War, powered by a Hispano-Suiza V12 engine. The main landing gear bays in the wings are clearly visible with the gear down, and plastic kits often render them only as a shallow opening. A faithfully cast bay with suggested ribs, spars and piping gives the underside of the wing a realistic depth that smooth plastic from the box cannot offer.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent to remove mold release residue. Cut the casting blocks off carefully with a saw and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Before fitting it into the wing, check the depth and the fit and rework the opening if needed. Glue the parts with cyanoacrylate glue; bring out the interior with shading and a wash.
The accessory is supplied as a resin replacement part, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
