Eduard cut self-adhesive masks for the Mosquito Fighter in 1:72 scale. A masking set for spraying the cockpit glazing and the wheel hubs cleanly; it is not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive cut painting masks from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:72 scale. It is not a model but an accessory for building: the masks serve for clean and accurate spraying of the frames of the glazed cockpit and for masking the wheel hubs. The film follows the shape of the frames exactly, so you avoid laborious cutting and uneven edges.
The de Havilland Mosquito was a British twin-engine aircraft of the Second World War with a largely wooden structure. The fighter and fighter-bomber versions had a solid nose with armament and a framed windscreen with the cockpit, unlike the bomber aircraft with their glazed nose. This set matches the fighter variant, so it masks the frames of the cockpit and the canopy, not a glazed nose.
Lift the mask off the backing, seat it on the glazing and press it down. Spray the frames with an airbrush, first in the interior color and then in the exterior shade, and peel them off once dry. Cover the clear areas between the frames with liquid mask or tape. Degrease the glazing before applying the masks for better adhesion.
This is not an airplane model but a set of masks. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
