The Curtiss P-40 was built in a long line of versions that differed mainly in engine, nose and armament. Usage tips

• Before sticking the mask down, lay it on dry and check that the frame sits on the engraved line of the part.
• Apply the paint first in the shade of the cockpit interior, and only then the top camouflage. The frame then looks right from inside too.
• With wartime camouflage such as olive and gray, a light sanding between coats helps so that the edge of the frame does not stay rough.
• Do not throw the rest of the sheet with the unused masks away; the small pieces come in handy for masking lights and position lights.
