Self-adhesive masks in 1:72 scale by Special Mask, cut for the glazing of the late version of the Curtiss P-40. They cover the cockpit glass so that the frames are created by spraying paint and the transition at the edge is crisp along its whole length.
The P-40N is among the last production versions and differs from the early machines in, among other things, its lightened structure and revised rearward view. That is exactly why the masking set for the late version does not overlap with the set for the early one. If you own both models, take care not to mix up the mask sheets, or the frame will not sit on the engraved line and the spray will look inaccurate. The version designation on the packaging is therefore essential information in this case, not a detail.
This is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
