Big Sin P-51D Advanced in 1:72 scale

This item is not an aircraft kit but a bundle of add-on sets from Eduard's Big Sin range intended for a model of the American P-51D Mustang fighter in 1:72 scale. Big Sin brings several separately sold resin sets together into one package. Use

The set replaces selected plastic parts with more accurate castings, so it suits modelers who care about fine detail. Cut the parts off the casting blocks with a saw, wash them in lukewarm water with dish soap and let them dry thoroughly, or the paint will not hold. Glue with cyanoacrylate, and with the gel version on larger parts, which gives more time to seat them. Try the fit dry and remove material gradually, ideally by wet sanding with respiratory protection. In 1:72 scale work with tweezers and in good light, because the parts are small.
