Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic set in 1:72 scale from Zvezda contains a model of the German anti-tank gun Pak 40 together with figures of an artillery crew. The parts of this line tend to be engineered as a simple assembly that can be put together without glue, so the set serves well to enliven combat scenes and dioramas of the Second World War.
The Pak 40, in full the 7.5 cm Panzerabwehrkanone 40, was the standard German 75 mm anti-tank gun, committed from 1942. It was among the most effective anti-tank weapons of its day and it could threaten most of the Allied tanks of the time. It served on every front until the end of the war and became the backbone of the German anti-tank defense.
Separate the small parts carefully with a sharp knife; secure the joints with a drop of cyanoacrylate glue if necessary. Paint the gun and the figures with a brush, build the flesh tone up from a skin base and darken the recesses with a wash. Unify the uniforms and the carriage in the gray-green shades of the Wehrmacht, and pick out the metal parts with a dry brush.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
