This is a resin corrective accessory, not an airplane model. The set from MH Models offers corrected central fuselage pylons for a model of the Panavia Tornado GR.1 strike and attack aircraft in 1:72 scale. It replaces plastic parts of simplified shape with more accurate castings.
The Panavia Tornado GR.1 was a British twin-engine strike and attack aircraft with a variable-geometry wing, developed in a European joint program. It carried a wide range of external stores, and its fuselage pylons are among the prominent features of the underside of the airframe.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut away the casting blocks and sand the mating surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Before fitting, dry-fit them on the fuselage and align the pylons with the longitudinal axis. The detail comes into its own once the parts are painted and the shadows are lightly accentuated.
This is an accessory for more experienced modelers. It is supplied unpainted; glue, paints and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
