Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British Fairey Ultra-Light light helicopter in 1:72 scale from AMP. It is a short-run kit, usually completed with photo-etched parts and a clear part for the canopy. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted; it is a small and delicate model with a short finished length.
The Fairey Ultra-Light was a British experimental light helicopter from the middle of the 1950s with an unusual drive to the rotor, by jets at the tips of the blades. It was intended for reconnaissance and casualty evacuation; only a few were built and the machine never went into series production. Its small size makes it an out-of-the-ordinary item in a collection of rotary-wing aircraft.
Expect fine parts and careful fitting, as is typical of short-run kits. Glue the photo-etched parts with super glue and mask the clear canopy. Glue the delicate rotor and the struts carefully. Tone the surfaces and add a fine wash to bring out the details.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
