A resin set of five headsets with a boom microphone for the cockpits of sport aircraft in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The pilot of a light sport aircraft has his head in the noise of the propeller and the engine for the whole flight, so a headset with a boom microphone became as much a matter of course in flying club cockpits as the belts or the altimeter. That is exactly the accessory this small set of castings offers for models in 1:72 scale.
Five pieces in the package are enough for several cockpits and for figures leaning against a wing in a diorama. The parts are so tiny that they are separated from the sprue gate with a sharp blade and moved with tweezers; once they fall on the workshop floor, looking for them is hopeless.
The headsets show to best effect where they can be seen: draped over the edge of a seat, hung on the control stick or worn on the head of a seated figure. Before gluing it is worth washing the casting in lukewarm water with detergent and letting it dry completely, because paint will not hold on traces of mold release agent and will flake off after a few weeks. Apply the cyanoacrylate glue with a pin, or the joint will overflow and swamp the shape of the microphone.
