A board fence with a top edge cut at an angle, a scenery accessory for a diorama in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A fence does more for a scene than expected: it marks out a plot, separates the road from the yard and above all hides the boundary of the base, where a diorama otherwise ends without explanation. It also gives the viewer the scale, because the height of a fence is easier to picture than the dimensions of a building or a vehicle.
A board fence in 1:72 scale with a top edge cut at an angle. Check the overall length, the number of parts and the material against the manufacturer's part number PL7-004 before ordering; the choice of glue and of the tool for shortening it follows from the material.
Try the placement dry and run the fence with slight irregularity, so that it does not look lined up with a ruler. Shorten it with a tool suited to the given material, make the cut a little away from the part and then sand the edge. Wash and degrease the parts before painting, otherwise the paint will not hold. In a small scale keep the contrast down: a wood base, a thinned dark glaze into the gaps and only a hint of a lighter tone from a dry brush along the top edge. At the foot apply an earth shade or pigment, so that the fence does not stand on the surface of the base.
The base, the terrain compounds, the vegetation, the figures, the paints and the glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
